Days Inn by Wyndham Council Bluffs/9th Ave

Not bad for a 2 star hotel. Obviously it has been renovated. A few issues in the bathroom with chipped paint, outdated cream color tub, and awkward light switch. Breakfast is average but great. I reserved my room a week prior and pricing was reasonable... at least I'm not paying $70-100 /night at the other hotels in the area.

A very nice place. VERY CLEAN. The hotel is a smaller one, built about 40 yrs ago but recently remodeled. The room we had was nicely decorated and had 2 double beds, a small refrigerator and coffee maker, a desk with lots of plugins, and of course a tv. The bathroom had a nice shower(no safety bars or handles though) and the sink was in a small alcove outside which was nice as more than one person could get ready at a time. The hotel was non smoking and smelled very clean as did our room. It was quiet and the people were nice and friendly.

We spent one night on our return trip home from a wedding. Very clean, recently updated decor pleasing atmosphere! Staff very friendly and helpful. Biscuit's and gravy for breakfast was delicious! The only thing negative for me is I am only 5"1' and some of the heights like the bed and breakfast. Coffee counter were difficult heights. The extra tall mattress adds to the overall height of the bed. The high counter and tall coffee carafes are not a good combination for short arms. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

We stayed here to go to the zoo, the room was clean, no noises in the halls we had a really good night sleep, breakfast is the usual: sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, apple and orange juices and of course coffee. The two ladies we had to deal with at the front of the check in and out were really nice even gave me suggestions on were to take my boys after the zoo. We will be staying here again for sure, it was nice for the price.

Normally do not like Days Inn but this one was nice and fresh. The front desk folks were friendly and available to help when I couldn't connect to the internet. Cleanliness could be better as there were stains on my pillows and when asking for new ones was denied due to they didn't have any extras and "truck was coming later this week" so that was rough.

This was the weekend of College World Series, plus we had a Tornado that displaced us for the night. They were Friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Walls are thin, so easy to hear the neighbors, but overall a good stay.

Location was great for a 10 minute walk back from Harris after seeing a performance since traffic was a mess. The rooms were very clean, updated with a modern look. Staff was very pleasent. The breakfast was enough for a bite while you go get breakfast from another location though, but that's not why I stayed.

Nice place for a quick night in then out. My wife and I stayed here and it was quite nice. Very friendly staff, nice room, came with free internet, AC that worked, fridge, microwave, and a lock box! I give it four stars because it has cable but there were channels that were really laggy so you couldn’t watch them. Also there was a lot of noises from the AC and plumbing, I didn’t mind it because I like some white noise but some may not. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
